My brother practically eats earphones (seriously he break his at least once a month) so my solution. get some $5 Coby earphones.I find the sound quality to be Fine, but I am not an audiophile so I don't really notice the difference; On durability I can say that while mine still work for almost a year, my brother keeps breaking his constantly (but this happens with any other one too) and my sister just broke hers (about a year too) but I will still find a very good deal that some $5 earphones will last a year.Conclusion:I'm at this moment buying some more.
bought them for my 9yr old daughter. The hard plastic headphones would not stay in her ears. These sound as good as most others i've heard and they fit her ears well enough that they don't fall out. and after about a year.they still work.
Bought 4 sets. Usually my son goes through a set every 3 months. These have been lasting about 3 weeks before the wiring fails.
good earphones to have as a spare for the car or other places when you need to plug into Iphone to listen to music and kill time. for the price the quality is great.
Though the bass isn't great, the sound quality isn't bad, especially as laptop headphones or something else that doesn't need to push high quality sound. While these are very good for the price, don't expect excellent bass. The sound isolation itself isn't too stellar but it's about what you might expect from earbuds. Even then, you might not mind them unless you're a connoisseur of sound. In short, yes they aren't top of the line, but they are excellent for the ~$5 I paid for them.
